- Saw a great documentary last night about the proposed Pebble Mine at the headwaters of my Bay (Bristol Bay). It was really powerful and had some great shots of Dillingham! So pretty up there.

- Got a flu shot an hour ago. Shots make me grumpy. The nurse was super nice though.

- Found out a friend had a baby a couple days ago…she’s cute and squishy and has a pretty name. I can’t wait to meet her.

- We’re going to meet another new baby this weekend in Oregon. Hurray!

- I am “Toastmaster” at my Toastmasters meeting today. I have to “lead” the meeting and I’m nervous, but I have handouts to pass around about the Native perspective and true history of the pilgrim encounters. Fun! I love rousing the rabble.

- The phases of the moon are irking me. I think another cycle has missed me.

- I want to go shopping. )

- We’re listening to Christmas music at work, before Thanksgiving, and I don’t mind. I love it, actually.

- I can’t wait to go on the carousel at Westlake this Christmastime.
